Dr. Singletary is a Professor of Economics with twenty-five years of experience with land grant universities coordinating all aspects of integrated research. Singletary’s projects emphasize collaborative stakeholder engagement to inform research and increase community decision-makers’ use of the resulting science. Currently, she develops and implements collaborative research design featured in the Water for the Seasons project. Dr. Singletary has spearheaded several federally funded projects including the Native Waters on Arid Lands project and the Nevada Beginning Farmer and Rancher project.  Additionally, her award-winning People of the Land program examines economic efficiency and equity issues related to Indian land tenure and water rights in sustaining agricultural production on tribal lands. Her most recent USDA-NIFA-AFRI funded project integrates scientific research with extension outreach to educate and enhance decision-making capacity of reclaimed water issues. For the project, she will serve on the project advisory council.
