Ryan is a graduate student who is finishing up the second and final year of his mater’s program in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering. In 2018, he graduated from Penn State College of Engineering with a BS in Biological Engineering and a minor in environmental engineering. Ryan has been a part of the Water For Agriculture Project for the past two years, working to bridge the gap between stakeholders and biophysical scientists. His research has revolved around reducing non-point source nutrient and sediment loading to the Chesapeake Bay through the modeling of best management practices (BMPs) on dairy farms in central Pennsylvania.
