Interviews (2018): W4Ag team members met with 30+ stakeholders to understand the needs and perspectives of a wide range of community members and identify the key water and agriculture issues in the Verde Valley.
Select project (2019): community members and stakeholders will be invited to participate in an online survey, followed by in-person meeting(s), to select and design a community-led project based on their priorities and interests for water and agriculture.
Implement project (2020): in partnership with the community, the W4Ag team will implement the selected project through discussion, education, research, and collaboration.
Evaluate impact (2021): After the community-led project is completed, the W4Ag team will measure how stakeholder engagement on this project affected community capacity in terms of learning, trust, collaboration, and how water-agriculture issues are understood.
